Paislee has yet ANOTHER bruise/bump on the right side of her forehead. She bumped it twice today and it's the ugliest it's ever been- dark & purple and extra bumpy.

Right now I am watching Paislee & Kailia perform songs on the fireplace complete with actions. Don't worry, they are applauding for themselves after each song. So stinkin cute, I can't stand it.

I love my little entourage (as Levi calls it). They follow me everywhere around the house- including the bathroom and kitchen. They especially love to be in the kitchen while I am making dinner. For some reason the twins love to stand on my feet and hold onto my pants. That makes cooking a little tricky, while still keeping my pants up. I love it. I am so lucky to be their mom!
There are the not so fun nights. Last night was especially heinous. With Paislee and Kailia fighting yet ANOTHER EAR INFECTION and feeling totally miserable, Bella was feeling way neglected and was a total emotional roller coaster. I was counting down the seconds until Levi would walk through the door. Until then, I separated them in the kitchen doing different things. This seemed to keep them pretty occupied until Levi got home. phew!

Bella did an Itty Bitty Cheerleader workshop a couple weeks ago. Ever since Uncle Landon's wrestling match, she said she wants to be a cheerleader soo bad. We even sat in the front row so she could imitate them. Well the cheer camp was pretty good. Although, I think a little much for a 3 year old. (It was 2 hours for 2 days). Her attention span was overloaded. She did have so much fun with her cousin, though! They were adorable!
Unfortunately I recorded over their half time performance by accident! UGH! I am such an idiot! She didn't really stay focused during the performance, though. I caught her tracing the letters on the basketball court with her feet while everyone else was dancing to Miley Cyrus. She did catch on to the cheers and still chants them to this day. "Here we go Prove-ments (Bruins)! Here we go!" I keep trying to correct her, but she says "That's what it is Mom!" She especially loved the Cookie Monster cheer and uses the "Peanut Butter Jelly and SPREEAAAD Out!" cheer on a daily basis.
Oh I love it. Whatever she decides she is into I know she'll be dang cute at.

Levi & I have been refinishing used furniture. This little hobby of ours is turning out to be somewhat profitable. He finished a dining table and chairs, which he bought for $20. He sold the refinished set for $250. It was nasty and gross before. I wish we had some proof! Our project this week is a dresser I scored at a yard sale last summer for $15. My guess is it is from the 60's. It was yellow and had 3 plastic yellow squares decorating each drawer. It was solid underneath, so I knew it had some potential. Levi popped off the plastic and discovered solid poplar underneath. He added an alder top piece and painted the frame black. I sanded down and painted the drawers to match. And we updated the hardware to a brushed nickel.
Again, I wish we had proof of how hideous this yellow monstrosity was. The afters are gorgeous! Next up, we have an oak entertainment center and 2 coffee tables. It's so gratifying to make something outdated and ugly, beautiful and functional.
