Princess Shoes

For Christmas last year, we got Bella a set of princess dress up shoes. Lately, she really has loved them and will walk around in them like she owns the place. Then she'll get her princess purse and say "See ya" and pretend like she's leaving the house. It's adorable. Girls are so much fun! I can't wait for my other two girls to join the party!

Bella's 2 year Pictures

Yesterday, Bella and I went to Allison for some Pretty Pictures. It was a lot of fun. I wanted to get some maternity ones and some of Bella. We put sponge curlers in her hair over night and she looked adorable. She didn't want to pose for us when it was her turn, but when it got to be my turn she turned into a little ham! We got lots of cute pictures anyway because Allison is just amazing. She has such a great eye. I only have two of the pictures right now, but more will be coming next week!

Awesome is AWESOME!

So I tried Katie's and Tracy's suggestion to use Awesome from the Dollar Store, and IT WORKED! I was so amazed. I really tried everything (rubbing alcohol, toothpaste, magic eraser, hairspray, oxiclean) and I and was ready to give up. This stuff was amazing. I was worried it might lighten or ruin my cushion but it didn't. The bottle says you can use it on anything that is washable and it doesn't contain bleach, ammonia or anything like that. So if you have kids...I would suggest you stock up on this stuff. I found it at the Dollar Store in American Fork (off the AF Main Exit by Target). It is in a spray bottle and it's called LA's Awesome - it's yellow. I will definitely be buying at least 10.


So thanks a bunch you guys! That $1 I spent saved my $500 couch!!!!

How do you get black Sharpie out of a couch?

So today, while I was in the office taking care of some office work...Bella was unusually quiet. So I thought I'd check on her, and there she was: her skin covered in black sharpie. Not only did she color all over herself, she got all three couch cushions as well. She knew what she was doing was bad so she offered my the marker willingly. I calmly put her in the time out chair as I tried to get the ink out. She didn't really cry, which she usually does in time out. After about 20 minutes she pulled one of my shirts over her as a blanket, and put a pillow on her head. She fell asleep in time out!

So I have tried water, blotting with nail polish remover, and rubbing alcohol. They have faded the black ink a little, but it is still way noticeable! I read online to try toothpaste, so we'll see how that goes....Any Advice?????????????

Vegas Baby!

Vegas was so much fun! My dad (papa Don) came in March to visit for 3 weeks and we took a little weekend road trip to Vegas. We had so much fun! The Mandalay Bay's buffet was the best I've ever had. We walked the old strip, went to the Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, and just had lots of fun spending time together.

Even though it was windy and cold this day in St. George, Bella got in the pool with Levi. It took her a while to warm up to it, but after that we couldn't get her out! She was shivering so hard!
